Villa Olmo in Como

The most imposing neoclassical dwelling in the city of Como. Named after a giant tree that doesn’t exist any longer . Built at the end of the eighteenth century, now the property is used for conferences and prestigious exhibitions ( Miró, Picasso and Magritte ) .
The garden and park surrounding the Villa are always open to the public.

Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo

The Villa, the stairway and the landscaped  garden were built at the end of 1600. Inside the villa there is a significant museum that collects statues, paintings and original furniture from the neoclassical period, among which some works of Canova. Noteworthy is the garden where you can see trees and plants from all over the world. In spring (April - May) visit the wonderful flowering of azaleas! Phone 0344 40405

Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio

Built in 1605 it is owned by the Rockefeller Foundation, which utilizes it for studies and conferences.
The huge scenic park, that occupies a great part of the promontory of Bellagio, is accessible to the public from April to November, following the guided tours. Tel 031 951555

Villa Melzi d'Eril in Bellagio

On the shores of Lake Como, in the beautiful garden, there are fine sculptures, among which the famous “group of Dante and Beatrice” by Comolli. A visit to the 'orangerie ",now transformed into a small museum and the family chapel is also worth-while. Tel 031950204

Villa Balbianello in Lenno

On the promontory of Lenno lies the splendid Villa del Balbianello, built in 1700 by incorporating an ancient monastery. The top floor is a museum which exhibits  an art collection and the travel-souvenirs of the explorer Guido Monzino. Access by motor boat or by foot-path  in stated days of the week. Phone 0344 56110

Villa Monastero in Varenna

Built on the ruins of an ancient Cistercian monastery, is today a congress center. We advise you to visit the garden below the villa. Tel 0341 295450

Villa Cipressi in Varenna

Villa Cipressi a complex of buildings and gardens rich in history, built between 1400 and 1800, preserves a beautiful botanical garden that extends across multiple levels and offers a breathtaking panorama of the lake.
