At the Restaurant La Veranda of Moltrasio on Lake Como, you can find unique appetizers that whet your appetite

Here is our proposal: in the kitchen, the chefs Laura and Paolo are always ready to amaze and whet your appetite with traditional dishes cooked in a typical larian way, with fresh and high quality ingredients:

  • Agoni (salted lake sardines) from our Lake in Vinegar Sauce
  • Grilled Missoltini (sun-dried Agoni) from our Lake
  • Appetizer “Tastes of the Lake”
  • Homemade Bresaola (air-dried salt-cured beef fillet ) with olive oil and lemon
  • Housemade liver patè with garden vegetables
  • Home-smoked salmon with pan brioche
  • Scallops and salmon kebab on chick peas puree and tomatoes confit
  • Artichokes and “Taleggio” goat cheese pie on mashed potatoes

The first courses at La Veranda Restaurant: a triumph of flavors of the larian and Mediterranean tradition.

Every dish is prepared in our restaurant in accordance with the traditional flavors and the quality is guaranteed by the raw materials’ choice. We favor local (zero KM) and seasonal products (that is why our menu is always changing): from homemade pasta, all combined with tasty toppings, every detail will leave you amazed.

Here there is a selection of what you can enjoy:

  • Risotto Lariana style, with perch  (Min. 2 persons)
  • Spaghetti with bacon in spicy tomatoes sauce (Amatriciana)
  • Homemade meat Ravioli with pine nuts sauce
  • Vegetables soup
  • Ricotta cheese and turnip tops tortelli with early vegetables
  • Spelt and leaf cabbage soup
  • Paccheri with shelled clams and wild garlic pesto

La Veranda Restaurant in Moltrasio offers main courses with selected raw materials prepared according to traditional recipes

In our restaurant you can answer all your questions, with the certainty that the dishes are fresh and of high quality: the whitefish perch that are caught in the waters of our Lake Como, while meat is carefully selected to be able to offer succulent dishes matched with vegetables of the season.
Into our proposals there is always the traditional “polenta taragna” with meat or fish.

Fish

  • Pikeperch with hazel-nut butter Jerusalem artichokes
  • Slice of salmon in “low-temperature cooking with fennel and citrus fruits salad

A good lunch or a nice dinner must be concluded with a great dessert that must be light and tasty, fresh and delicate, but rich in flavor: our chefs Laura and Paolo know it very well! They prepare every day sweets and delicacies, all in-house made to guarantee the freshness and to satisfy every palate.

In the summer the outdoor terrace is the ideal place to relax and enjoy dishes admiring our beautiful Lake Como.

We remind you that our Hotel Posta is located in Moltrasio on Lake Como, two minutes from the exhibition center Villa Erba in Cernobbio, Como and fifteen from the A9 motorway Lake Como. You can reach us easily by car or by public transport such as bus and boat, look here to see where we are.
